Demi Lovato has had a little help from some very famous friends for the music video for Still Alive, her song from the Scream 6 official soundtrack.

The American singer and acting star, 30, first became known fifteen years ago when she appeared in Disney movie Camp Rock and released her first solo album.

Since then, Lovato has released a string of singles and albums and has appeared in dozens of films and TV shows, including Glee and Grey’s Anatomy.

In 2018, Lovato took a break from show business after struggling with her mental health, but soon returned to the limelight and began performing again.

Now, in 2023, she’s continuing with her grand return to music, after her 2022 album Holy Fvck reached the top 10 in the UK albums chart.

Released today (March 3), new single Still Alive will be featured on the soundtrack to Scream 6, starring Jenna Ortega and Courteney Cox.

And it’s not just the movie that’s loaded with stars, as the cameo-heavy music video for Still Alive features a whole bunch of famous faces.

Not only does Lovato tackle the horror franchise’s prime antagonist, Ghostface, but she also shares the screen with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.

Rapper and singer Shinoda, 46, was a founding member of Linkin Park, who formed in 1996, before lead singer Chester Bennington joined in 1999.

He appears in the music video as a projectionist who shows Demi and her friends spooky footage, before they have to fight off Ghostface and escape.

Shinoda also wrote and produced the wrong, which many fans have likened to Linkin Park’s material during their heyday in the early-to-mid 2000s.

The video also features Wednesday star Jenna Ortega and Friends star Courteney Cox, who both revise their roles from previous films in the franchise.

American heavy metal vocalist Spencer Charnas, who fronts the band Ice Nine Kills, also makes an appearance at the beginning of the video.

Last month, Lovato and new boyfriend, Canadian musician Jordan Lutes, kissed on the red carpet of Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala.
