Jenny Newbie and Lee Riley are firm favourites on Gogglebox – let’s be honest, the show wouldn’t be the same without them – and they’ve provided us with yet another iconic moment.
The best pals are forever bringing the laughs to the Channel 4 programme, whether it’s Lee mocking Jenny’s new teeth or Jenny’s NSFW commentary on the week’s TV shows.
And in Friday’s episode, Jenny made a revelation that had her friend physically gasping for air due to laughing so hard.
As Lee informed Jenny that her t-shirt was actually see-through, she proceeded to make him all red in the face by whipping out her ‘chicken fillets.’
‘It’s see through!’, Lee told her, to which Jenny asked: ‘Is it?’
‘Can you see my chicken fillets?’, she quipped, with Lee instantly bursting out into a cackle.
‘You haven’t got your chicken fillets in?’, he asked.
‘I have!’, Jenny exclaimed, leaving Lee wheezing.
When he asked why his pal had said ‘fillets’ in – which we later learned are padded inserts in Jenny’s bra – she had a typically hilarious but also rather relatable response.
‘Because if I haven’t got them in, my belly’s level with my t*****s!’, she joked.
‘It’s cheaper than a b****y boob job anyway!’, she remarked. ‘They’re alright!’
Jenny then pulled the pads out, at which point Lee totally lost it, almost struggling to breathe through laughter.
The moment also left viewers at home in stitches, with one saying they ‘laugh out loud every episode’ thanks to the pair.
‘I’m dead that Jenny has got her padding in her bra’, one viewer tweeted.
‘That Jenny and Lee crack me up on Gogglebox’, tweeted another.
‘Jenny and lee are everything lol’, laughed one.
Another highly amused viewer penned: ‘I’m glad that chicken fillets are a universal experience. I had some as a teenager’.
Viewers are surely glad to see Jenny back to her old comedic self this series, after she was forced to miss episodes last year due to surgery.
The TV star worried fans when she was missing from the show – and was previously unable to attend the Baftas – but Lee was quick to assure everyone she was ok.
He insisted that it was a ‘minor operation’ and Jenny would be fighting fit in no time, with his bestie back on our screens shortly afterwards.
Gogglebox continues Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
