With the 2021/22 season almost a thing of the past attention turns to reinforcing for next season and the PSL transfer rumour mill is back in action with Kaizer Chiefs featuring heavily.
You know that means that we will be bringing you all the latest PSL transfer rumours and football gossip.
Kaizer Chiefs target hints at big move
Former Bidvest Wits man Bienvenu Eva Nga has been on the radar of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Amazulu.
Eva Nga told Soccer Laduma that he had received offers from big name clubs and would be moving on from Chippa United.
“We have many offers. They are there already. Very very big (name clubs). Local big names. Very very big names. You are going to get it soon. Very very soon,” he said.
Khune urged to join Royal AM
Itumeleng Khune has been advised to consider extending his career with a move away from Kaizer Chiefs.
Former Jomo Cosmos stopper Aime Kitenge has urged Khune to join Royal AM and continue playing well into his 40s.
“Khune can still play for at least another two years. Gianluigi Buffon is still playing at 44 yet Khune is 34 but some people say he must retire,” Kitenge said as quoted by Kickoff.
“I know Khune very well and he is still the best goalkeeper and all he needs is just to play.
“All that Khune needs is a chance to play, and I would recommend that he moves to Royal AM or even AmaZulu. I know that he loves Kaizer Chiefs because that is the only team that he has ever played for, but I think Khune should just move to Royal AM.
Marumo Gallants seek to keep hold of Orlando Pirates target
Marumo Gallants have confirmed their desire to sign defender Isaac Nhlapo to a new deal with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
It appears the player is keen to continue his stay in Limpopo, with his agent confident he can seal the deal.
“Yes, Nhlapho signed a short-term deal with Marumo Gallants which expires at the end of the season. He did well before getting injured and is now back in contention. We’ll sit down at some point with the club, probably after the Nedbank Cup final to find a way forward,” Nhlapo’s representative Mandla Mthembu told Soccer Laduma.
Zwane won’t confirm Kaizer Chiefs have signed Zitha Kwinika
Interim head coach Arthur Zwane would not comment on the reported signing of Zitha Kwinika from Stellies.
“I’ll leave that to the club,” he told reporters after Kaizer Chiefs’ win over Sekhukhune United.
“As you know we will sit down, obviously the whole technical staff and discuss about what’s going to happen going forward.
“I think next week, we’ll have that meeting to see who is coming in and who is going out.”
