The mastermind that is Taylor Swift has given fans their first clue for the ‘from the vaults’ songs which will appear on her version of 1989.

Taylor recently swept up awards at the VMAs winning nine awards, although she lost a massive stone from her ring.

The VMAs marked a year since her announcement of Midnights, a record breaking album, and now she’s teasing her next re-release, 1989.

It appears Taylor will be rolling out the blue carpet full of cryptic clues for fans, with a new teaser hinting at the 1989 Taylor’s Version vault tracks.

Since her early albums, the Cardigan singer has been hiding easter eggs for her swifties to decipher, including which albums are going to be released next.

Her fifth studio album was the one that launched Taylor into pop superstardom and she is sharing five vault tracks – plus a bonus track on a tangerine vinyl.

Vault tracks are songs which never made it onto the original version of the album but were written for that era, kept safe for a rainy day.

Speak Now TV and Fearless TV each got six vault tracks but Taylor released a whopping nine for Red TV.

If you have googled Taylor Swift in the last day or two you may have spotted a little vault drop down with a letter jumble when you click on it.

Google’s blog revealed there were 89 puzzles for each person to decipher and once everyone ‘collectively’ solves 33 million the vault tracks will be unlocked.

It wrote: ‘Dying to see how this one ends? We promise that the wait isn’t gonna be forever, but the prize will definitely be worth the pain.

Letters from the vault

‘Cause darling, we’re a Swiftie dressed like a search engine.’

However, alongside this Google vault, Taylor shared a short video on social media, in which letters appeared to fly out of an opening vault.

The letters read ‘T S U L !’ with fans suggesting it could either be an anagram for ‘lust’ or ‘s**t’ or simply the first letters of words.

‘You can tell me when the *search* is over… if the high was worth the pain. 😎,’ wrote Taylor on her Instagram.

For struggling fans, helpfully the sneaky Grammy winner has switched off comments so you’re on your own kid.
